MasterChef Science ($260/pax; September 10-12, 2025; P1-P6; 9am - 12pm daily)
In this fun and unique culinary science holiday program, aspiring MasterChefs will enjoy yummy edible science adventures as they explore the chemistry of cooking and baking! Students will learn about food molecules and how chemical reactions can affect food texture and flavor to create the perfect chocolate chip cookie and their own popping bubble tea! They'll discover how proteins interact to create soft fluffy bread, and experiment with heat, sugar and caramelization to create the viral Dalgona toffee! From exploring how to make meringue to whipping up donuts, kids will enjoy edible science adventures that will leave them hungry for more! Through exciting hands-on cooking and learning games, students will learn about: • Proteins (gluten, yeast, and bread-making) • Carbohydrates (sugars, caramelisation, and candy-making) • Fats (saturated and unsaturated fats, emulsion, and meringue-making) • Food macromolecule interactions in Baking (Maillard Reaction) • Eating nutritionally (reading nutritional and ingredient labels for smarter meal decisions) *Please indicate if your child has any food sensitivities, as we will be working with dairy and gluten products.

LEGO Robotics: Battlebots! ($168/pax; September 11-12, 2025; P1-P6; 9am - 12pm daily)
In this fun introduction to robotics, kids will learn to build and program progressively more challenging robots using LEGO SPIKE Prime robotics and a drag-and-drop Scratch-based programming software. Young engineers will discover how to use coding, sensors and attachments to make their robots perform specific tasks, even as they hone problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills. The camp will culminate in a final mini competition where kids will battle their wits and bots in the ring! Young engineers will have a blast as they: • Discover the fundamentals of block-based coding and basic programming logic, and how robot motion is realized • Explore the working principles of commonly used sensors (motion, light, etc) • Hone their creativity and critical problem-solving skills as they learn to analyze construction challenges and break large problems down into smaller ones, and so much more! A great way for kids to explore science, engineering and physics concepts through play.

Lights, camera, action! In this exciting technology program, students will take a peek behind the scenes and discover the magic of animation! Learn the science and history behind the art, and how animators create the illusion of movement with still images. Experiment with different media to create short stop motion animated films. Junior animators will go behind the scenes and learn about the filmmaking process, from storyboarding to video editing. As they work in small teams and with different materials to bring their stories to life, kids will: • Discover the fundamentals of storytelling and scriptwriting • Learn how to capture stop-motion frames and animate characters • Explore the features of animation software to edit images, add sound effects and music, and edit the video timeline

Just in time for Halloween! In this spook-tacular science camp, kids will explore the science behind all things ooey and gooey! Join us if you dare! Students will have a ton of fun: • Exploring light, luminescence and phosphorescence with glow-in-the-dark Franken-slime and monster mucus! • Engineering with electricity to create floating ghosts and light-up Halloween cards! • Discovering phase changes with dry ice smoky potions, oozing jack-o-lanterns, crystal balls and boo bubbles! • Experimenting with chemical reactions with vampire venom, inflating pumpkins, hidden messages and more! Scientists and Explorers will embark on an exciting exploration of physics and chemistry through engaging, hands-on experiments and engineering activities. A great way to make your child’s first memories of science fun and meaningful!

Explore the wonders of prehistoric life with hands-on activities that guarantee learning, discovery, and fun! Where did dinosaurs come from and what did Jurassic World get right and wrong? Our junior paleontologists will have a dino-mite time: • Learning about the history of life on our planet, and examining real fossil specimens from our permanent collection! No time to go to the museum? We bring the museum to you! Campers will ooh and aah as they see and touch trilobite and ammonite fossils from the Paleozoic Era, and Spinosaurus and Mosasaur teeth from the Cretaceous period! • Discovering the most extraordinary dinosaurs to have walked the Earth, and how to differentiate carnivores and herbivores from their biology and physical traits • Exploring geology as they discover how fossils, earthquakes and volcanoes form, and making their own “fossils”, dino-ramas and explosive volcanoes! • Learning about animal habitats and conservation efforts Through hands-on experiments, visual demos and arts and crafts activities, young paleontologists are guaranteed to have a roaring good time!
